LIVE with Gabby on Channel 5

“Project Underdog is the brainchild of 22 year old entrepreneur Jo Lloyd. Jo, who runs a record label was moved by the hardship faced by those affected – and the way that young people were portrayed. She got together a group of talented musicians to record a cover of Linkin Park’s Iridescent – which they hope will challenge for Christmas number one. We’re joined by Jo, and Bradley Hughes who is one of the singers on the record to find out what they hope to achieve. Money raised from the single will benefit those affected by the riots, along with projects to get young people off the streets.” Gabby Logan

Out of the riots comes a strong voice for young people up and down the land…

Esther McVey, MP for Wirral West...

“Britain is facing a social crisis - the likes of which it has never seen before. Earlier this year the UK suffered the worst rioting in three decades. PROJECT UNDERDOG is an outstanding initiative. It gives a voice to the vast majority of youth of this country who have felt their voice has been lost amongst all the negative commentary and pictures the media had portrayed. Galvanised by the riots they have come together to help raise money and help rebuild their local communities." Read More...

Everything was lost in the summer riots

LENI WHITE (Hazlitt), 31, is a musician who lives in Ealing, west London
There had been violence in different parts of London for a couple of days but so far my fiancé and I hadn’t been affected. So when he rang to say he wanted to pick me up from the station on Monday, August 8, because he’d heard the riots were heading our way, I thought that he was overreacting. Read More...

With the music video now completed, everything is starting to come together. We performed at the switch on of the Chester Christmas lights last Thursday and it was great to see, once again, all of our supporters there. Also it was amazing experience for our artists to sing as a group in front of a live audience.

We’ve got so much coming up in the count down to the release, including our first launch party on Thursday at the St Georges Hotel, Regent Street, London.

It’s all very exciting!
Jo x
